“I’m still being held in Port Harcourt max prison”, Kemi Olunloyo speaks from prison, says Nigeria will soon return to democracy

Kemi Olunloyo, the self acclaimed journalist and daughter of former governor of Oyo State, Victor Olunloyo, has broken silence since she was docked behind bar, called for support for investigative journalism and hope Nigeria return to democracy soon.

Ms Olunloyo was convicted for publishing malicious report about Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries.

She was arrested and transfered to Port Harcourt, released for a while but later re-arrested.

Wishing her fans happy holiday, Olunloyo said on Instagram: “I’m still being held in Port Harcourt max prison. I’m in high spirit. Very soon Nigeria will return to democracy -madam koo.  #Journalismisnotacrime. #supportinvestigativejournalism”
